October 17, 2011Christopher Roger, Louisiana State Liaison for the National Rifle Association, informed Representative Tony Ligi by letter dated October 3rd, 2011 that he has received an “A” rating from the organization.
Mr. Roger wrote:
“I am pleased to inform you of your “A” rating and endorsement. Your “A” rating is a
reflection of your strong record of support for Louisiana’s Second Amendment Rights.”

At its annual meeting on September 29th, the Louisiana Family Forum presented to State Representative Tony Ligi its annual “Outstanding Family Advocate Award for the Year 2011″.
The Louisiana Family Forum is a statewide research and educational organization affiliated with Focus on the Family that is a voice for traditional family values in Louisiana.
In the three years preceding this award, Representative Ligi had received the Family Advocate Award from the Louisiana Family Forum.
